About viola lessons

Now is your time to take Viola Lessons from pro Viola teachers in your city. The viola is the important mid-range of the violin instruments, between the lower cello and contra bass and the higher violin. While not as well-known as the violin, the viola serves to provide the mello, penetrating, and even melancholy sounds found in everything from classical to indie rock. The Viola is one of the most versatile and beautiful of all stringed instruments.

Viola student requests

My son, Ian, has a lot of musical background. He is 11 years old. He has had piano lessons for 5 years. He did one year of instruction on cello and did very well. Then we moved to Kansas, and he decided to take up viola instead of cello.

Ian needs a teacher who will teach him to progress. He needs challenge, but not TOO much. Connecting instruction to what he knows from piano would be very helpful. He is busy with activities (viola, swim team, piano, Kansas City Children's Chorus, and of c...

I am currently interested in resuming play of the viola. I have not played in at least 10 years and would probably need to start at a beginner level. I currently own a viola of standard quality and before investing, I would like to make sure that I still enjoy playing. I would definately need to be taught how to read sheet music again. I look forward to this opportunity. in advance

My name is and I'm a 33 year old high school teacher who would love nothing more than to play viola again. I played in elementary/junior high and I haven't picked up a viola in 20 years! I don't even own a viola! Can you help me?

my name is and I play the viola but right now I'm a little rusty. I really love to play and I use it for meditation and to relieve stress. I've played with Oklahoma University for a few concerts and opera's. I would like to play peaceful melodic music for my heart and would love to find out if you could help me in that venture. I no longer own an instrument but am willing to rent one if you've got it. I'm also in a housing transition and work regularly when I'm not diggin out of the hole if ...

I used to play the violin and viola in Elementary and High School and would like to play again. Playing the basics, without the dreaded squeaking, and reading the music again is what I seek

I am interested in viola lessons. As a teenager, I studied piano and flute, doing well enough to attend Brevard Music Center 2 summers in a row. It has been several years since I played an instrument, and I would like to do so again.

I would like to learn to play a stringed instrument for personal pleasure.

I do have voice mail on my phone if I miss your call

My oldest daughter has been taking violin from Beth Titterington for 7 years. We are interested in our youngest daughter starting viola this fall. She does not have a very long attention span so we are only interested in 30 minute lessons. She is a very optimistic and enthusiastic child. She does have some minimal learning and developmental delays but is rapidly catching up. She has some speech delays. She has a great ear for music and has been able to sing in tune before even being able...
